S'more Pops

Create a yummy version of the classic campfire treat!

Normally we make s'mores the old fashioned way, but this year I wanted to try something a little different!  What's great about these pops are that you can make them ahead of time so you can bring them to picnics, parties and more! And no worrying about kids going near an open flame!

What you'll need:
Chocolate bars
Large marshmallows
Crushed graham crackers
Lollipop sticks

I decided to kick ours up a notch and sprinkled the pops with sea salt and Trader Joe's sugar, chocolate and coffee bean mix!

In a small microwaveable bowl, microwave chocolate on high for 30 seconds, stirring once, until chocolate can be stirred smooth.

Dip each marshmallow halfway into melted chocolate. Sprinkle with graham crackers and sea salt. Insert lollipop stick into chocolate side of marshmallow and place on plate. Let stand at room temperature until chocolate hardens.

Using a kitchen torch, or stove top roast top of each marshmallow until golden perfection.

Enjoy (without all the hot, gooey mess)!

Countdown to Kindergarten

I can't believe my little girl is starting kindergarten in a few weeks *sniff sniff*
The topic is now a daily conversation so I thought it'd be fun for us to create a countdown to the big day (it'll be a huge reality check once there a just a few rings remaining)!

We printed some fun school clip art on a tabloid size paper and created paper rings using scrapbook paper. One ring for each day leading up to the first day of school.

Each morning she'll get to tear off a ring until the big day arrives!

Let the countdown begin!

Bite Size Ice Cream Cones

We go crazy for ice cream during the warm summer months and make it a date to have a "sweet treat" a few times a week! Now you can treat yourself without any of the guilt with these teeny-tiny ice cream cones!

Want to know our secret to these little guys?
They are chocolate peanut butter Bugles!
Just grab a bag along with your favorite ice cream & enjoy!

Kids love them!
Adults love them!
Just one itty bitty serving (we won't tell if you have 2 or 3 or 6)!
Less mess and less waste!

Sounds like a winner to me :)
